Private Consultation (sustainable homes / retrofit)
We offer one-to-one consultations with architect and educator Ric Frankland. With more than 15 years’ experience teaching architecture, design, and construction at UK universities, and as founder of Wudl Modular Homes, Ric combines academic insight with hands-on building expertise. His work focuses on low-carbon, fabric-first construction, modern methods of building, and practical approaches to retrofit.
These one-hour sessions are tailored to your needs - whether you’re a homeowner exploring retrofit options, a student seeking guidance on sustainable design, or a contractor looking for practical advice on new build methods.
Consultations can take place in person at our Manchester factory or online via Zoom, making them accessible wherever you are.

Carbon Literacy workshop
Our one-day Carbon Literacy workshop provides a practical and engaging introduction to the causes and impacts of climate change, while focusing on the role of buildings and construction in reducing carbon emissions.
