This 3-hour introductory workshop is essential for people interested in learning how to retrofit a home, making it low-energy, low-carbon and healthy. Please arrive from: 9.30am for a prompt start at 10am (morning sessions); or 1.30pm for a prompt start at 2pm (afternoon sessions) Topics covered will be: 1. why we need to retrofit our homes 2. single measures & quick wins 3. fabric first: insulation, airtightness & moisture control 4. embodied carbon - natural & recycled materials 10 minute break ​ 5. heating & cooling 6. ventilation 7. assess, evaluate & plan ok, what next - further help & resources There will be a maximum of 15 attendees so the session will be very relaxed and interactive.
