This 2-hour introductory workshop is essential for people interested in learning how to retrofit a home, making it low-energy, low-carbon and healthy. Please arrive from: 9.30am for a prompt start at 10am (morning sessions); or 1.30pm for a prompt start at 2pm (afternoon sessions) Topics covered will be: • why we need to retrofit our homes • fabric first - insulation & moisture control • natural materials & innovative products • quick wins & tricky details 10 minute break ​ • energy, heating & cooling • not just heat pumps...! • evaluate & plan • what next - other help & resources There will be a maximum of 15 attendees so the session will be very relaxed and interactive.
